Who We Are

Kids Voting Oklahoma is a non-partisan, non-profit organization that serves Oklahoma schools through voter education and preparedness, promoting civic engagement, and increased family and community communication about citizenship.

Why Kids Voting Oklahoma?

In Oklahoma, voter turnout is the lowest among voters between the ages of 18 to 29 and lower than our neighboring states in this age group. At Kids Voting Oklahoma, we are committed to creating lifelong voting habits in children. We believe this is possible by providing students with necessary voter education, government function education, and all the resources necessary for informed civic engagement.

All programs are FREE to Oklahoma schools, educators, and students.

Our mission is to provide all Oklahoma students with the education and resources necessary to understand the role of local, state, and federal governments and the American voting process.

Voter education and preparedness is essential for Americans and our society. Voter turnout and civic engagement among youth in Oklahoma is at an all-time low. By providing voter education curriculum, lessons, activities, and resources throughout a child's development stages we want to ensure by the age of 18, Oklahoma students are ready to vote and engage in other civic responsibilities.
